IOLA, Wis. (WBAY) - The latest Packers game isn’t just special because it’s the NFL Wild Card game...it also has special meaning to one Wisconsin school district.

The Iola-Scandinavia School District recently shared that two of the players, one Packer and one Cowboy, have siblings who work in the district.

As a result, the school district is hosting a “Battle of the Brothers” at Iola-Scandinavia Middle/High School this week!

The school district said Karina Hass, sister of Packers linebacker Kristian Welch (who’s also a graduate of the district), teaches English and Language Arts in the Middle School. Joel Biadasz, brother of Cowboys center Tyler Biadasz, teaches Physical Education and Health.

The school district said fun and games are planned for this week, with students choosing their side at the end of the week.
