Beef imported from Argentina recalled after missing inspection. Here are the impacted products

(Gray News) - The Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service recalled 29,629 pounds of beef that was imported from Argentina.

Why was the beef recalled?

The agency said the beef was not reinspected when it arrived in the United States.

What beef was recalled?

The following products have been recalled:

• Frigorifico Gorina SAIC boneless beef Top Sirloin Butt (Cuadril Sin Tapa)
• Frigorifico Gorina SAIC boneless beef Eye Round (Peceto)
• Frigorifico Gorina SAIC boneless beef Topside Cap Off (Nalga AD S/Tapa)
• Frigorifico Gorina SAIC boneless beef Flat (Carnaza Cuadrada)
• Frigorifico Gorina SAIC boneless beef Knuckle (Bola de Lomo)

How do I identify the recalled beef?

The beef has use-or-freeze by dates ranging from Sept. 15, 2026, to Sept. 20, 2026. The products have an establishment number of “EST. N° OF. 2025” and a shipping mark of “26644-AA.”

The beef was sent to distributors and retailers in Florida and Texas.

The agency said no illnesses have been reported as a result of the recall.
