Construction workers injured when building they were working on collapsed

TOWN OF MERRILL, Wis. (WSAW) - A construction worker was taken to the hospital after a building they were working on collapsed.

The Merrill Fire Department responded to an address on Hemlock Lane in the town of Merrill Tuesday for a reported building collapse. Construction workers were injured when the roof trusses they were setting had shifted and toppled on top of them.

One of the workers was trapped initially, but was able to free themselves. Three of the workers were evaluated at the scene and one was taken to the hospital.
