Vilas County opens snowmobile trails

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (WSAW) - Snowmobile trails in Vilas County opened to riders at 8 a.m. Friday.

The county has more than 500 miles of snowmobile trails that connect its 12 communities.

Trails are in early-season conditions, and caution should be taken on corners and while accelerating or braking. Riders are urged to stay on marked trails, routes, and lake crossings.
