20 years ago today, one of the most devastating storms in history made landfall on the Gulf Coast. Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and many Mississippi communities. Today, we're looking back at the stories of recovery.
10 days after the levees broke, Action News 5 joined a caravan of Mid-South military vets called to help.
Located in Smith County on a stretch of U.S. Highway 69, the newly named Veterans Memorial Highway will serve as a lasting tribute to the brave men and women who have served in the United States armed forces.
