Temperatures started out in the 30s and 40s for Wednesday morning as the cool mornings continue across central Wisconsin. The wind direction will shift to the south for Wednesday morning and plenty of sunshine will return for the day, which will help temperatures climb well into the 70s to near 80° for the afternoon.

Another quick moving storm system will roll through the Northwoods Tuesday morning, bringing a small chance for light showers and sprinkles in the morning, with another round of showers and possibly a thundershower later this afternoon. Temperatures will get a small boost for Tuesday afternoon, with highs middle 60s north, to the lower 70s south.

Summer started Sunday night at 10:32 p.m. and now anything but summer like temperatures will return for the first full day of summer Monday. Expect daytime highs to slowly climb back into the lower 60s for most locations, which will remain around 15° below average for this time of year and will be more like the first day of May, instead of the first day of summer.
