UPDATE: Waupaca Co. engine repair shop extensively damaged in fire

NEW LONDON, Wis. -- UPDATE: (1/3/16 - 3:47 p.m.)
The cause of a fire at a small engine repair shop in Waupaca County is under investigation.

In a press release from the New London Fire Department, a motorist driving on Highway 45 reported seeing flames in a window of Euhardy's Sales and Service in the Township of Lebanon at around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

When firefighters arrived on scene, heavy smoke was coning from the building, and flames were found in the parts room area.

The building was extensively damaged by the fire, according to the New London Fire Department. It was not occupied at the time of the fire. No one was injured.

Bear Creek and Hortonville Fire Departments were also called for help.

US-45 southbound is closed at Hoffman Road near New London due to a structure fire, according to the DOT.

They estimate all lanes will be blocked in the southbound direction for one hour.
