Jeff Beckman remains in custody on a $250,000 cash bond.

Beckman is accused of responding to an ad posted on Craigslist targeting child sexual assault predators.

According to the criminal complaint, the ad was posted by an undercover officer from the Brown County Sheriff's Department. According to an email conversation logged by authorities, Beckman offered to pay $60 to participate in sex acts with three children, which he were told were ages 12, 14, and 15.

Beckman was arrested at a prearranged meeting location by the Marathon County Sheriff's Department on March 29.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for Beckman's home. According to court documents child pornography was discovered prompting additional charges.

A judge has already ruled there is enough evidence for the case to head to trial.
