Farm to Fork featuring winter squash

Winter is not known as a time for bountiful harvests or as much of a growing season, but there are still several different farm products that stay fresh for winter eating.

Monday, Sunrise 7 spoke with Stacey Botsford, owner and farmer at Red Door Family Farm in Athens about winter squash. She said there are many different varieties that range in flavor. She added squashes are a great winter food because they store well for long periods of time.
