Taylor named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week, named finalist for Doak Walker Award

MADISON, Wis. (WSAW) -- The accolades continue to pile on for Badgers sophomore running back Jonathan Taylor.

After his 321 yard, 3 touchdown performance Saturday against the Purdue Boilermakers, Taylor was named the the Big Ten's co-offensive player of the week.

It's the fourth of his career and second of the season.

The nation's leading rusher has also been named a finalist for the Doak Walker award. Taylor will look to be the fourth Badger to win the award.

The award recipient will be named on December 6 in Atlanta.
