MADISON, Wis. (WSAW) -- The Stratford Tigers rolled back into the WIAA Division 3 State Team Wrestling title dual with ease after trouncing Random Lake 41-24.

In the finals, Stratford met longtime rival Fennimore. The Tigers and Golden Eagles met in the championship for the fourth time in a row.

Fennimore came out on top for the first time since 2016, 31-24.

The Tigers took a 6-0 lead after the first two matches, but Fennimore would score some major points with pins.

At 170, Trevor Dennee was the brightest spot for Stratford. He pinned Atai Berdaliev in 1:06. At that point the Tigers held a 21-15 advantage.

Eventually, it all came down to the final match. Stratford trailed 25-24. Fennimore sealed its title when Brody Lee pinned Logan Gaulke in 2:52.

Fennimore's title ends Stratford's bid for three straight state titles.
