Packers release LB Morrison

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAW) -- The Green Bay Packers announced that they have released linebacker Antonio Morrison.

The Packers acquired Morrison last off-season in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts. The deal sent cornerback Lenzy Pipkins to the Colts.

Morrison played in 16 games with eight starts while tallying 42 tackles, four tackles for loss, a sack, two QB pressures and a QB hit. He also added four tackles on special teams.
