GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAW) -- The Packers announced this morning that Nathaniel Hackett will be Green Bay's offensive coordinator.
Hackett spent the last three years as the offensive coordinator with the Jacksonville Jaguars before being fired in November.
In 2017, the Jaguars led the league in rushing yards per game with 141.4. That was the first time ever Jacksonville led the league in rushing.
Hackett started his coaching career at UC Davis as the assistant linebackers coach in 2003.
He eventually worked his way into the NFL in 2006 as a offensive quality control coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
His first offensive coordinator gig came with the Buffalo Bills from 2013-2014.
Head coach Matt LaFleur said during his introductory press conference that he's planning on calling the offensive plays not the offensive coordinator.
