Almost one year to the day after tweeting out his commitment to the Wisconsin Badgers hockey team, Mosinee native and former SPASH Panther Cole Caufield has signed his letter of intent to play for the Badgers.

Caufield currently plays for the U.S. National Under-18 Development Team.

Splitting his time between the U-17 and U-18 teams last year, Caufield netted 47 points in 27 games, and is considered a possible future first round NHL draft pick.

His older brother Brock is a current member of the Badgers hockey squad.
