Iola-Scandanavia wins Division 6 football championship

MADISON, WIS. (WSAW) Iola-Scandanavia rolled Racine Lutheran 43-14 to win the Division 6 Wisconsin state football championship game Thursday at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.

The T-Birds, last year's Division 6 championship game runner-up, took an early lead 15-0 in the first quarter and never looked back.

Iola-Scandanavia's dominant rushing attack was led by Bryce Huettner who carried the ball 32 times for 156 yards and scored three touchdowns. Connor Kurki threw for two touchdowns on 104 yards passing and added 49 yards rushing. The T-Birds totaled 282 yards on the ground and 386 yards of total offense.

Iola-Scandanavia finishes the season an undefeated 14-0.
