REPORTS: Packers sign multiple free agents

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) The Green Bay Packers are working to shore up two of their most vulnerable positions on defense after signing three free agents Tuesday.

The Packers have agreed to a deal with linebacker Za'Darius Smith, according to ESPN reporter Rob Devmovsky. Smith joins the Packers from the Baltimore Ravens.

Demovsky reports that former Chicago Bears Safety Adrian Amos has also signed a deal with the Packers. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Amos' deal will be worth 4-years and $37 million that includes $14 million in year one and $21 million in the first two years of the deal.

Demovsky also reports that the Packers are signing LB Preston Smith from Washington.

Smith led the Ravens with 8.5 sacks in the 2018 season.

Amos finished 2018 with two interceptions and 73 tackles.

According to multiple reports, the Packers are also releasing former first-round pick Nick Perry. The outside linebacker struggled to stay on the field with injuries and could never replicate his 11-sack season in 2016. Green Bay saves $3.6 million in cap room after the release.

On the offensive side of the ball, it's being reported that the Packers have signed offensive lineman Billy Turner who previously played for the Broncos.

The 27-year-old started 11 games for the Broncos and can play both tackle and guard.

ESPN is reporting that Turner and the Packers agreed to a 4-year $28 million deal.
