MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Washington Wizards completed a three-team trade this afternoon.
The Bucks will receive point guard George Hill from the Cavs, and veteran center Jason Smith from Washington, along with a second round pick from the Wizards. The Bucks send Matthew Dellavedova, John Henson, a 2021 first-round pick and a 2021 second-round pick to Cleveland. Milwaukee will also re-route Wisconsin native Sam Dekker to Washington.
Hill is averaging 5.7 points , 2.8 assists and 0.9 steals a game this season. The 11-year veteran will join his sixth NBA team. He figures to be the primary back-up to Eric Bledsoe.
Smith, a reserve center for the entirety of his career, is averaging 3.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1 assist per game in 2018. He will most likely take Henson's role as the back-up center.
