WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) -- The 20-year-old Wausau woman accused of using another person’s credit card to make nearly 100 purchases on Amazon.com is scheduled to head to trial in June.

Investigators said while employed as a receptionist at a Wausau business, Katelyn Nardi, took a receipt containing credit card information of a customer and used it to make $3,330.90 worth of purchases in just a few days.

An investigation began April 9 after the alleged victim reported someone had used his credit card to purchase numerous baby and toddler items.
Amazon provided the shipping address to investigators. Prosecutors state the address was Nardi’s.

She’s charged with credit card fraud and using another person’s information to obtain money.

She’s free on a $5,000 signature bond.
