ANTIGO, Wis. (WSAW) -- Snowmobiles trails in Langlade County and Lincoln County are scheduled to open Friday with restrictions.

In Langlade County, Zone A of the State-funded snowmobile trail system in Langlade County will open at 5 p.m. with restrictions. Corridor 9 South of Hwy 64 at Polar will remain closed due to inadequate snow cover. Additionally, the trail between intersections 54C and 53A will be closed due to frequent truck traffic from logging operations.

According to a news release, trail conditions in the wooded northern and eastern parts of the county will be in fair to good condition, with the exception of low lying swamps, which may have standing water present.

In Lincoln County, Zone 1 will open at 5 p.m. Friday with exceptions. Corridor 19 south of Highway 86 and Trail 96 south Highway 86 remain closed.

Trails in open fields may also be lacking in snow cover. Riders are urged to use caution in these areas.
