IHOP has held National Free Pancake Day since 2006 as a way to help local charities. The event aims to raise $5 million nationally for the Children's Miracle Network this year.

The Wausau and Plover IHOP locations will benefit Marshfield Children's Hospital. The free short stack is offered and donations are taken until the restaurants close at 10 p.m.

Visitors to the Plover location between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. will get a chance to meet Miss Wisconsin 2018 Tianna Vanderhei. Vanderhei, originally from Wisconsin Rapids, is visiting IHOP locations across the state Tuesday to help raise awareness for kids being treated at children's hospitals.

The Plover IHOP is located at 3025 Village Park Dr, Plover.

The Wausau IHOP is located at 2008 N Mountain Rd, Wausau.
