RUDOLPH, Wis. (WSAW) -- Wednesday, the bronze statue honoring the life and career achievements of Dick Trickle will be placed at a park in Rudolph—the NASCAR legend’s hometown.
Organizers say plans, engineering, fundraising, and construction are currently in progress for the memorial.
Trickle died in North Caroline in 2013.
Sunday is the sixth annual Dick Trickle Memorial Celebration at Rudolph Community Park. The event is from noon to 6 p.m.
The statue dedication is at 2 p.m. on May 19 at Rudolph Community Park, located 1757 Park Street.
