DARIEN, Wis. (WSAW) -- Autopsies are scheduled Tuesday to determine the cause of deaths for two people found dead in a rural Walworth County home Monday evening.
WDJT-TV reports police received a 911 call about someone who had been shot at a home on Buckingham Court in the village of Darien.
Multiple agencies responded and when deputies with the Walworth County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene, they found a man who had been shot in the shoulder. He was taken to a hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
Authorities negotiated with those for several hours before SWAT team members breached the home's door and found a man and a woman dead inside the home.
Police say there is no danger to the community. The investigation is ongoing.
