WSAW is seeking applicants for a full-time newscast director. This person will fill a crucial role, directing our Morning News, Sunrise 7. We are looking for an experienced director, capable of making decisions on the fly, maintaining a cool head under pressure, and who thinks three steps ahead.

The Newscast Director has the responsibility of:
• Co-directing our morning newscast, Monday-Friday
• Managing broadcast cut-ins during network news
• Operating live and pre-recorded television
• Web video productions as assigned.

Qualifications / Desired Skills:
• 1-3 years of previous newscast directing experience
• Experience with Ross Vision Switchers/Ross Overdrive and Avid iNews a plus
• Seeking someone with strong computer skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and an understanding of live television operations and production.

This is a full time position requiring the flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends and changing schedules.
