University leaders share friendly wager on Frozen Four matchup with UWSP, Hobart

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW)-- UW-Stevens Point is hosting the Frozen Four D3 Ice Hockey Championship at K. B. Willet Ice Arena. Friday night, the Pointers took on Hobart and some important people from each school are using the matchup for a little friendly competition.

UWSP Chancellor Bernie Patterson put up five pounds of Wisconsin cheese on the game, while President of Hobart College Patrick McGuire put up a bottle of New York State wine.

The Pointers are 27-0-2 on the season. The team needs just two more wins to be the first unbeaten team in Division 3 hockey history.

The game starts at 7 p.m.
