Rosholt’s Adam Rzentkowski has been one of the dominant cross country runners in the area the past few years, culminating in a second place individual finish at the state meet this past fall.
Today he signed his letter of intent to run at the Division I level at Central Michigan University.
"I'm really excited, and I was nervous during the signing," said Rzentkowski. "Again I’m just really happy I got to this point in my running career. I'm just really thankful to everyone who supported me and my decision, and it really meant a lot to me."
He chose the Chippewas largely because it felt a lot like home.
"Definitely just like the overall atmosphere. I thought the food was amazing," Rzentkowski explained. "(It’s a) Nice, small campus, coming from a smaller town. So I think I would fit in really well in that kind of a scene to spend four years.”
