Packers release 2019 preseason schedule

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAW) -- The Green Bay Packers will kick-off the 2019 preseason versus the Houston Texans at Lambeau Field. The date has yet to be set, but it will be between Aug. 8-12.

This is the third consecutive season the Packers open the preseason at home, and the first time the Packers have played the Texans in the preseason.

The Packers and Texans will hold a joint practice in Green Bay leading up to the game.

Green Bay will then travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens. This is just the second time the Packers face the Ravens in the preseason.

A week later, The Packers will face the Oakland Raiders with the location still to be determined. The Packers and Raiders have met four of the past six years during preseason.

The final preseason game will be at home against the Kansas City Chiefs on Aug. 29.

The Packers are also slated to face the Chiefs and Raiders in the regular season this year.

The Packers regular season schedule is expected to be released later this month

Aug. 8-12 - vs. Houston Texans
Aug. 15-19 - @ Baltimore Ravens
Aug. 22-25 - vs. Oakland Raiders - Location TBD
Aug. 29 - vs. Kansas City Chiefs
