REPORT: Packers hire Nathaniel Hackett as their offensive coordinator

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAW) -- According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network the Packers have hired Nathaniel Hackett as their offensive coordinator.


Hackett spent the past three seasons as the offensive coordinator of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jaguars ranked 31st in the NFL in scoring offense this past season with 15.3 points per game. Jacksonville also finished 27th in the league with 302 yards per game.

Hackett had a better showing in 2017. Jacksonville made it all the way to the AFC Championship game with Blake Bortles under center. That year Jacksonville finished 9th in the league with 359.8 yards per game and 6th in the league with 25.9 points per game.

Jacksonville fired Hackett last November.

He also was the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills in 2013 and 2014.
