MOSINEE, Wis. (WSAW) -- Miranda Rux
How'd you get into figure skating?
"So my best friend in middle school, we were best friends and we did a lot together and she was always figure skating and I didn't do anything in the winter so I decided to try it the next year and she ended up dropping out. So I continued it and I've been doing it since third grade."
What's your favorite school subject?
"I really like Chinese. Every time I learn something its kind of like a guessing game and I have to figure it out what it says and I actually have to memorize it."
Who's your favorite athlete?
"I really like Dana Rettke from the Wisconsin Badger volleyball team. She's super tall and I'm really short so I see what she can accomplish with height and it might have been pretty fun but you know we go with it."
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
"I think I would love to be invisible. You can go around and mess with people and they would never know you were there."
What's one sport you wish you could play?
"So I've always wanted to do dance. I watch my best friend do the shows in May and I thought it would be super cool if I could do the same thing. Or gymnastics, because I'm super flexible and I think it would be fun to display all of that."
What's something people don't know about you?
"Typically when I have music in I'm not listening to rap, I typically listen to country. All of my playlists are country and not too much more."
