Wisconsin forward Ethan Happ and Marquette guard Markus Howard were both named second team All-Americans by the Associated Press earlier today.
For Happ, it's a strong ending to his stellar career at Wisconsin on an individual level. The senior averaged more than 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, leading the Badgers in all categories. This is his second time on an All-American team, after being named a third-team selection in 2017.
Howard was the Big East player of the year this season. The junior guard scored 25 points per game, the most by any player in a Power Five conference. He scored more than 45 points in a game three times, including a 53 point performance against Creighton that broke the Big East record for scoring in a game.
Happ and Howard are both expected to be NBA prospects in the upcoming June draft.
