MADISON, Wis. (WSAW)-- The Wisconsin football team hosted media day this afternoon, but Camp Randall Stadium was buzzing later in the evening with Badger Family Fun Day.
Families from all over came to take pictures, get apparel signed and talk to the Badgers players and coaches.
Therewere activities like a field goal kicking contest, and a chance to hold the famous Axe--which the Badgers have owned the last 14 years by beating rival Minnesota.
Fans from Central Wisconsin even made the trek to see their favorite Badgers.
"I used to come to this as a kid when I grew up in Madison," said Wausau resident Justin Frahm. "A lot of fond memories of the Rose Bowl years, and just coming out here and meeting the players. It's certainly puts the focus on football and family, and that's a great thing."
"It's nice to check out. I like to support my nephew," said Bill Biadasz, uncle of starting center Tyler Biadasz from Amherst, "and it's nice to see all the different fans that just come out and support everybody."
The Badgers open up fall camp on Thursday.
