Mark was born on July 7th 1956 to Leonard Osowski and Jacqueline (Peterson) in Stevens Point. He attended Catholic schools, grew up playing with his five siblings, and was a keen fisherman from a young age. Mark married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Lori (Kropidlowski), on September 9th 1977. He and Lori were happily married for more than 41 years, during which time they were blessed with three daughters (Kelly, Tracy, and Kerri) and five grandchildren.

Mark (Grampie) took great pride in spending time with his family, and absolutely loved going to the grandchildren's events. He always expressed he was the richest man in the world because of the love he has for his family.

In addition to his family, Mark was fortunate and grateful for his friendships. He loved spending time and living life to the fullest with his friends, and especially his life-long friends: Greg, Mike, and Dave. He will be remembered for his story-telling and jokes. His laugh and hugs will be missed by all who knew him.

Mark worked most of his life in the manufacturing industry. He was most proud of his recent work as a supervisor at the Worth Company, where he worked for 17 years until he retired due to his illness. Mark enjoyed spending time outdoors: fishing, hunting, sitting on his front porch, and attending annual Musky camp trips with his friends. He was a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers, was an avid card game player, enjoyed reading Louis L’amour’s Western Novels, and loved listening to 60s-70s rock music.

Mark is survived by: his wife, Lori (Kropidlowski) Osowski. Three children: Kelly (Emerson) Osterberg; Tracy (Rob Wangen) Osowski; and Kerri (William) Anderson. Five grandchildren: Gavin Osowski, Autumn Wangen, Alex Anderson, Rhoslyn Anderson, and Wyatt Osterberg. His mother: Jackie (Peterson) Osowski. Five siblings: Sandra (Mark) Bystrom, Jane (Terry) McKnight, Mary (Rob) Reid, Ann (Jerry) Bilgalke, and Joe (Jean) Osowski, as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Osowski; his grandparents; his father- and mother-in-law, Harry and Phyllis Kropidlowski; his brothers-in-law, Larry (Kropidlowski) Davies, Jerry Lasky, Mike Jungwirth, and Dave Wnuk; and his sisters-in-law, Beverley (Kropidlowski) Kiefer, Pam Kropidlowski, and Janice Kropidlowski.

The family would like to thank St. Michael’s Cancer Center and Hospice staff for their compassionate care for Mark. The family would also like to thank all their family, friends, and community for their love and support.
