Wausau woman charged with bringing infant to drug deal

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) -- An 18-year-old Wausau woman is in the Marathon County Jail after prosecutors say she brought a 1-month-old child to a drug deal.

Chloe Lorbecke is charged with six counts including possession of methamphetamine and neglecting a child.

According to court documents, Lorbecke sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant on March 29.

A search warrant was obtained for Lorbecke’s apartment on April 12. According to court documents, officers seized a journal they believed belonged to Lorbecke detailing drug sales.

A one-day trial is scheduled to be held June 4.

Lorbecke remains in the Marathon County Jail on a $2,500 signature bond. She’ll be released from custody if she is able to post the first $250 in cash.
