Wausau committee tables animal ordinance discussion for now

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) -- The Wausau Public Health and Safety Committee is planing to have more discussion about an ordinance, in the works, that limits the types of animals citizens can have as pets.

The issue was brought to the committee last year after a pet fox named 'Evee' was euthanized after getting loose and biting a community service officer.

During Monday's meeting, most of the discussion was centered around the ownership of reptiles, but the committee did not come to an agreement.
