UPDATE: Power restored to thousands after equipment failure in central Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Public Service website shows that power has been restored to thousands this evening, after an equipment failure knocked out power to over 4,000 in central Wisconsin.

6:47 P.M.
As of 6:41 p.m., Oct. 11, the Wisconsin Public Service website showed more than 4,000 people without power in the Schofield, Weston, Eland, Hatley and Ringle areas.
A call came in to WPS at 6:08 about the power outages and crews are currently being dispatched according to a WPS spokesperson.
WPS does not know how long the outage is expected to last.
