Kristin Ikert, teaches physical education from grades 4K-6th, including adaptive education for students with special needs. She advocates for the health and well-being of all her students by creating physical education opportunities that encourages students of all abilities to work hard to be healthy and active.
Through positive encouragement and creative lessons, students grow in their physical ability and knowledge of what wellness means to them. She has lead our school through several building-wide programs; including the Kids Heart Challenge, Track and Field Day, staff and student March Madness Shooting Contest, and other programs that encourage an active lifestyle in a fun and engaging way. In addition, she models and coaches our students on developing strong sportsmanship skills.
The understanding that we cannot play the sport without being a good sport is of utmost importance to her and our school. Thank you Mrs. Ikert for all you do!
