RIB MOUNTAIN, Wis.(WSAW)-- After several years of planning The Rib Mountain Lions Club finally finished its new bike shelter and on Wednesday it was dedicated to the community.
The shelter is located at the corner of County NN and Hummingbird Road. Through donations the club was able to add a bench, picnic table and a bike repair station for anyone who needs it.
"Generally our contributions for charitable events go outside the community and in this case we are able to give back to the community and show that our hearts are not only outside the area but also with the citizens of Rib Mountain," said Doug Doede the president of the Lions Club.
The club says the shelter is also dedicated to their lifetime members who have given more than 40 years of service.
