One week before voters hit the polls, a Republican group has thrown their weight behind state Supreme Court candidate Brian Hagedorn
The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) announced its first television ad Tuesday morning, saying they would be following up with additional advertising in radio, broadcast, mail, and other mediums.
Hagedorn's liberal-backed opponent Lisa Neubauer has benefited from over $500,000 in outside spending, with $350,000 of that coming from Eric Holder's National Democratic Redistricting Committee, as well as significant outside spending from Planned Parenthood, the Greater Wisconsin PAC, and DC-based PAC 'For Our Future'.
Up till today, outside spending on Hagedorn's campaign was significantly below that amount, with Americans for Prosperity the primary spender at a bit more than $100,000.
7 Investigates has reached out to Hagedorn's campaign for comment on the Republican spending, and is also awaiting comment from Neubauer's campaign on the special interest money that has been invested in the election.
