Electrical issue likely cause of Weston apartment fire

WESTON, Wis. (WSAW) -- Investigators believe an electrical issue caused a fire that resulted in significant damage to a Weston apartment complex.

The fire was reported around noon Wednesday on the 5900 block of Camp Phillips Road.

The SAFER fire chief tells NewsChannel 7 no one was injured. Power to the complex was turned off. The Red Cross is assisting affected tenants.

Camp Phillips Road was closed in front of the the building. It was expected to reopen around 2:30 p.m.
