Poll Worker spends 80th birthday working on Wisconsin's primary day
A poll worker enjoyed her day on the job while also celebrating her 80th birthday.
Lois Obermeier had a great day on Wisconsin's presidential primary day. Both she and her colleagues agreed that she has worked between 15 and 20 elections at the Town of Mosinee Hall.
This was her second election date that she has worked on her birthday.
"I just love to work with the people and do my duty. It's just something I like to do. I mean, I love people," Obermeier said.
She was thankful for her friends being kind by delivering cookies, cupcakes, a cake, flowers and a birthday sign to make her day that much more special.
