The Packers are adding more members to the team. Not on the field, but as part of the Titletown Tech Initiative.

The University of Wisconsin System is joining in the partnership with the Packers and Microsoft.

UW-Green Bay will provide an "entrepreneur-in-residence," who will connect startup technology businesses with investors. UWGB will also provide education and guidance in business development and operation.

Microsoft is building a two-story, 46,000 square foot office and laboratory in the new Titletown District just west of Lambeau Field.

"Who knows, maybe the next Epic or Google may be started right here in Green Bay," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy.

Murphy says it's possible the new university partnership might be the most direct way of attracting college graduates to the area.
