New Record for Share Your Holidays

It's another new record for Share Your Holidays!

Through your donations and matching grants, $60,260.19 was raised. Smashing last year's records of a little more than $56,000. Hundreds of items of food, more than ever were collected.

During NewsChannel 7 at 5 p.m., the check was presented to the Neighbor's Place and Salvation Army.

If you haven't given yet, the account at River Valley Bank will stay open through the end of the year.

Share Your Holidays is brought to you by NewsChannel 7, The River Valley Bank, Wagner Shell, JX Truck Center and Frontier Communications. Matching grants are provided by the bank, The Dudley Foundation and The Jerry Halversen family.

In fact, with donations lagging just before the check presentation, the Halversen family agreed to donate $3000 beyond it's $10,000 matching grant.
