Never too old to say 'I do'
It was love in the courtroom with 86-year-old Janice and 88-year-old Jim Catlin surrounded by family and friends as they said 'I do.'
The two got married at the Portage County Courthouse on Thursday with friends and family looking on.
It was a kiss that was years in the making.
They had first met in 1947 on a school bus but it wasn't until recently that they had reconnected.
"I found out not too long ago that we have lived in the same house and all these things were coincidental. I knew him right away when I first saw him," said Janice Catlin.
Jim felt the same way and said his favorite thing was her. "It's just her and we just want to stay together," said Jim Catlin.
Janice and Jim started seeing each other after they found out they lived close and then after a few months they decided they wanted to get married.
After the ceremony on Thursday the newlyweds were carried away by chariot, off to tour the town and then meet their family and friends for pizza to celebrate their special day.
