Two Wausau women arrested during a drug bust March 24 have pleaded not guilty.

Ashley Baumgardner, 24, and her mother April Pirillo, 42, are both charged with possession of methamphetamine, possessing an illegally obtained prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Baumgardner is also charged with two counts of neglecting a child, maintaining a drug trafficking place and delivering THC.

According to court documents, Baumgardner sold marijuana to a confidential informant. Police then executed a search warrant at their 3rd Avenue apartment and also discovered syringes and pills with in reach of the children.

A judge also ruled there is enough evidence for their cases to head to trial.

Both women are free on $2,000 signature bond and will return to court April 20 for clerical court appearances.
