WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) -- Students getting up early is a feat in itself. Students getting up early before the new school year has even begun, many would call, impressive. Kira Millhausen and Ellie Bruess from the Mosinee High School DECA chapter joined Sunrise 7 to talk about their last hoorah for summer fun, that is also benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The mini golf tournament will feature friendly competition, goodie bags, and hole contests supported by sponsors. Along with the 18 hole mini golf tournament there will also be inflatables, carnival games, face painting, raffles, and concessions including cotton candy and sno cones. It will take place at Sawmill Mini Golf at the Cedar Creek Mall in Schofield beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31. The cost to participate is $8 per person. People can preregister, but walk-in teams will be accepted until 3 p.m. All of the proceeds raised will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
