Bond set at $2,500 for suspect in Plover Pizza Ranch robbery

PLOVER, Wis. (WSAW) -- The 21-year-old man suspected of robbing employees at Pizza Ranch in Plover Wednesday night remains in jail on $2,500 cash bond.

Semaj Amaru Gwyn is expected to be charged with armed robbery and theft.

Witnesses said a black man wearing a mask entered the store and demanded money, verbally threatening an employee with a gun. The suspect left the store with an undetermined amount of cash and took off.

The Stevens Point Police K9 was able to track the suspect as well as recover evidence along the tracking route, according to a news release.

Approximately two hours after the incident, the alleged suspect was arrested along Hoover Ave, just south of Plover Springs Dr. in the Village of Plover.

He's expected to return to court April 29.
