The CEO of K-Tech Kleening Systems feel that after 16 years of delivering food to the less fortunate for the holidays, the company is finally reaching the groups of children and elderly that are often forgotten in the charity system.

On Sunday morning staff from K-Tech Kleening Systems delivered boxes of food to low-income families throughout Marathon County. More than 400 boxes were sent to families by surprise.

“It’s the holiday season and everyone should be happy,” stated Tim Thomas who volunteered to help load cars full of food. “Those who can help people should help people.”

Families were preselected by area schools and charitable organizations that identified the needs of the families.

“Families will receive a ham, hamburger meat, sausage, cheese, break food and lunch food’ there is more than just one meal in the box,” added Craig Kersmeier, President of K-Tech.

Over the year, K-Tech fundraised more than $20,000 to support the cost of the food.
