Icy roads remain following heavy snowstorm

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) -- The snow has been cleared from the majority of central Wisconsin's major highways, however what remains is icy-covered roads.

Plow truck drivers NewsChannel 7 spoke with Thursday said that could be a risk given dropping temperatures.

Friday morning portions of Highway 29, Highway 8, Highway 13 and Highway 10 were reported to be icy.

Highway 51 from Minocqua to Wausau, and I-39 south to Portage was reported to have slippery stretches.
