If you've been searching for the holiday spirit, Friday night just may your opportunity to find it.

The Wausau Holiday Parade, filled with the lights and sounds of the season, will start at 6:30pm Friday evening. It goes from Marathon Park to the 400 Block.

Members of the Newschannel 7 staff will be walking along the route, gladly taking your donations of non-perishable food and money for Share Your Holidays, which starts today.

If you can't make the parade, there are a lot of other places to donate to our annual food drive and fundraiser.

We delivered the carts that will serve as dropoff boxes this year, and hope you'll help us fill them with non-perishable food.

Carts can be found at Wausau area Wagner Shell stations and at County Market in Wausau. They're also at River Valley Bank branches and the Channel 7 studio; all of which are accepting food and money.

A big thanks to Sam Stevenson from JX Truck Center for donating the time and truck to drop the carts off.

Everything we raise through Share Your Holidays goes to The Salvation Army and Neighbor's Place food pantries.
