TOMAHAWK, Wis. (WSAW) -- According to a post on the City of Tomahawk's Facebook page, a deal on a new contract between Harley-Davidson and the local United Steelworkers Union will lead to a $10 million investment in the Tomahawk plants.

The mayor, Steven Taskay, says a week ago there were issues reaching a new deal, but on Monday, the union announced an agreement giving workers a multi-year contract.

In the Facebook post, the mayor said Thank you again to Harley, and thank you most of all to its workers. If it was not for your hard work and dedication this never would have taken place. You prove daily why Tomahawk is a great place to live, work, and invest in.
