Funeral services announced for victims Abbotsford shooting

ABBOTSFORD, Wis. (WSAW) -- Funeral services will take place later this week for two people killed Jan. 20 as result of a shooting.

Duane [Hostetler] Lopez Jr, 25, was laid to rest Thursday. An online obituary for Cierra Hardrath, 21 states she'll be laid to rest Friday.

Family describes Duane as a father of two and shared he died a hero.

Family described Cierra as an animal lover, particularly horses. She graduated from Edgar High School in 2014.

Her obituary reads, "Cierra loved and was loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her”.

Investigators said Hardrath was shot and killed by her boyfriend, Tyler Zimmerman, 26. Zimmerman is also charged with killing Lopez Jr.[Hostetler] and shooting and injuring an 18-year-old woman. He remains in the Marathon County Jail on $1 million cash bond.
